1.      My little one, my little precious one, why don’t you come and climb onto my lap? Allow me to soothe you. Allow me to absorb all your burdens in my embrace. Allow me to take onto my shoulder the weight of your trials. Give me all your infirmity and place it in my heart. My heart can take it all. Every disappointment I can take. Every failure I can handle. There is nothing you are facing that is too big for your God. There is nothing that I will not do for my child. Let me have all your doubts and your insecurities. Let me have all that prevents you from standing in my name. Hide nothing from me but lay it all bare on my lap and I will fill you, I will restore you and place you in your rightful position.

2.      My cross has already gone before me to clear a way for you. It is not a burden to you; it should be a badge of honour.

3.      Tonight, for many of you, I am not first in your life; I am not top priority and this breaks my heart. If you put me as number one you will know true blessing. Create a space in your heart for me, your Lord God of Hosts, to live. Create a space in your life for me where I can take precedence over all things. My blessings and gifts will know no bounds. Every sorrow I will bear for you. Every burden I will carry for you. I love you with a love that has no bottom: a love that is so deep. I want you to share in this love. I need to be first in your life.

4.      Vision:

Imagine yourself as a jar. God wants us to be empty like the jars at the wedding feat in Cana. God is filling us with His Holy Spirit so that we will overflow onto someone else.

5.      To the hungry, I come as food. To the thirsty, I come as drink. To the wounded, I come as comforter and healer. To the satisfied, I do not come at all. Hunger and thirst for me and you will be made whole.

Scriptural Confirmation:

Jeremiah 29:12

When you call to me and come and pray to me, I shall listen to you.

Psalm 63: 1-8

God, you are my God, I pine for you; my heart thirsts for you, my body longs for you, as a land parched, dreary and waterless. Thus I have gazed on you in the sanctuary, seeing your power and your glory.

Better your faithful love than life itself; my lips will praise you. Thus I will bless you all my life, in your name lift up your hands. All my longings fulfilled as with fat and rich foods, a song of joy on my lips and praise in my mouth.

On my bed when I think of you, I muse on you in the watches of the night, for you have always been my help; in the shadow of your wings I rejoice; my heart clings to you, your right hand supports me.
