The Mission Ministry consists of departments through which the outreach and social justice activities of the Community are delivered.
Outreach
Outreach is responsible for the planning and organization of crusades, foreign mission, pilgrimages, parish outreach, Lenten missions, prayer walks, Life in the Spirit Seminars, etc. Weekly home visits and house to house evangelization are also delivered through Outreach.
Prison Ministry
Prison Ministry focuses on delivering prayer and pastoral support to the inmates at the Youth Training Centre (YTC) Facility, bringing continuous improvement to the current mode of delivery. Since 1989 Community members have been visiting YTC on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
Social Action
The vision of the Social Action Department is to meet each person at the point of their need whether it be physical, emotional and spiritual needs. This is achieved by bringing relief to families who are having challenges in meeting their basic food requirements through food hampers; care packs to YTC inmates, and stationery packs to primary and secondary school students.
The Ministry is guided by the scripture: Matthew 25: 35-36
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
